Back from the Julian J Smith catwalk show at On|Off during London Fashion Week. The London based designer launched his debut 'ready-to-wear' collection inspired from the Op Art movement of the 60s which contrasts and explores the adventurous and the ordinary to great effect.
The collection was amazing, full of bright colours, lots of PVC, linen and shorter than short skirts! Julian believes "PVC could be considered 'teenage' whereas linen is perhaps grown-up". Colours contrast in a similar way. The result is not confused and is described as 'happy chaos'.
