On|Off Catwalk Style Makes an On-Trend Fashion Statement

Last weekend Scholl teamed up with the legendary On|Off during London Fashion Week for an exclusive collaboration that combined high fashion with one of the UK’s iconic brands – Party Feet. While On|Off staged catwalk shows that previewed spring 2010 trends, Scholl sampled its invisible gel cushions to models, fashionistas, journalists and celebrities - who all left London Fashion Week a little more pampered than when they arrived.

Scholl Party Feet ‘It’ Girl Leanne Mawson enjoyed front row seats at On|Off catwalk shows- host to some of the UK’s most notable up-and-coming designers. She blogged and tweeted her observations onto the partyfeetdiaries site, reporting that heels are showing no sign of lowering and designers are not afraid to take chances. "Sky-high shoes ruled the catwalk," she says, "teamed with short skirts in bold, contrasting colours and beautifully embellished detail – making for so many eye-catching designs. "

Falguni and Shane Peacock attracted the most stylish London fashionistas to their show, which consisted of elaborate prints and luxe detailing –demonstrating high fashion at its most wearable! They’re huge in their home country of India, and with designs like the ones we saw at On|Off it’s easy to see why they’re super popular here as well. Michelle from Destiny’s Child was snapped looking stunning at the show wearing a dazzler from the designer’s collection. Julian J Smith is another name to watch– we predict his fun, quirky designs mixing fabrics such as PVC with linen will be huge!

Unique fashion statements didn’t just stay on the runway – the On|Off Party Feet Party on Saturday night saw celebs such as Martine McCutchen, the Fun Loving Criminals, Jodie Harsh, Siouxsie Sioux, Alice Dellal, Pam Hogg, Speech Debelle, Primal Screen’s Bobby Gillespie, Judy Blame, Louise Roe and Boy George rocking their own distinctive styles. Soul II Soul whipped up the crowds – with more than 500 guests rushing the stage to catch sight of Soul II Soul’s Caron Wheeler – who flew in from New York especially to reunite with the band (few can say no to On|Off creative director Lee Lapthorne).

Scholl’s top fashion tips for becoming a style icon next spring are to make a statement with your fashion choices - keep the colours bright, the hems short and the shoulders sharp for a look that’s guaranteed to turn heads for all the right reasons!

And don’t forget to drop Scholl Party Feet Ultra Slim Invisible Gel Cushions into your high-heeled shoes for the added style and comfort that will take you down for very own catwalk – whether at work or play.

Whatever the inspiration, at the resulting fashion shows there are always a catalogue of new looks. There are elegant catwalk trends in the form of demure 1940s pencil skirts and the return of the skirt suit, to the new glamour of 80’s fashion infused party pieces for the festive season.
